I'm not sure whether this is relevant, but I have found with my H4's that they don't like dongle.mvpmc.bin, I have to use just dongle.bin and dongle.bin.config
Also, the secondary tftp port needs to be open, as the mvpmc switches to that part way through the boot process. I use:- mvprelay 16881 5906 6337 <my.server.address>& in my rc.local startup script. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Neeesat Sent: 26 May 2008 15:59 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Mvpmc-users] [mvpmc - MythTV] Problem connecting to mythtv .21 Tom Metro-10 wrote: > > neeesat in: > https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=4980685 > wrote: >> Can someone confirm that mvpmc can work with .21 release of mythtv? > > Check the list archives. Unfortunately I got the same results having my MVP freeze on booting again. Here what I have in my syslog: May 26 17:55:21 master dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.0.108 to 00:0d:fe:00:37:7b via eth0 May 26 17:55:21 master atftpd[2957]: Serving dongle.bin.mvpmc to 192.168.0.108:3909 May 26 17:55:21 master dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:0d:fe:00:37:7b via eth0 May 26 17:55:21 master dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.0.108 to 00:0d:fe:00:37:7b via eth0 May 26 17:55:22 master atftpd[2957]: Serving dongle.bin.mvpmc to 192.168.0.108:3909 May 26 17:55:22 master dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:0d:fe:00:37:7b via eth0 May 26 17:55:22 master dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.0.108 to 00:0d:fe:00:37:7b via eth0 May 26 17:55:22 master atftpd[2957]: Serving dongle.bin.mvpmc to 192.168.0.108:3909 May 26 17:55:22 master dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:0d:fe:00:37:7b via eth0 May 26 17:55:22 master dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.0.108 to 00:0d:fe:00:37:7b via eth0 Any ideas please?
