Thanks Mike, I just want to make sure I understand what I need to do. If I stop the backend, restart it using the command: mythbackend -v network, database >> [log file somewhere] while in my dongle.bin.mvpmc.config include the -M switch That should be sufficient? It seems to produce a pretty big file, would five minutes be too much. I would think I would easily see video stutter inside that time period. Do you need me to do anything particular with the MVPMC? or just go straight into playing a video? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stay on top of everything new and different, both inside and around Java (TM) technology - register by April 22, and save $200 on the JavaOne (SM) conference, June 2-5, 2009, San Francisco. 300 plus technical and hands-on sessions.
