Was I dreaming? I must be suffering from a brain block. Yes, that makes sense. That whole bit about mounting files identically on both the server and client would not make sense if using the mythtv protocol. Aaaah (shudder), I've got to start thinking before typing more often! Ok, so I assume the way people are going about watching ATSC on a mvpmc box are: 1) Transcode everything to NTSC/stereo. Shame, as I have real front ends capable of ATSC/5.1. 2) Use VLC to serve up a real-name-linked-list-of-shows to the mvpmc's file browser. Also, there may be future hope: Find out what happened to Chase's iTouch/iPhone project. Looked like a promising interface between mythtv and mvpmc (i.e. mvpmc thinks it's talking to a mythtv box w/NTSC/stereo recordings). -thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The NEW KODAK i700 Series Scanners deliver under ANY circumstances!
