Can't you just use -a 16:9 ? I am not sure what the auto bit is
trying to do as presumably your TV is allways goiing to be 16:9!
I think I used to use the -a option but for some reason I changed it and
I now use the -F setting to allow the mvp to save its settings on a nfs
mounted location. I think the main problem was I had a mix of 16:9 and 4:3
sets and doing it this way you can save this and any other settings without
changing the config sfile.
I use -F /var/myth/settings/`hostname`.cfg
The `hostname` part ensures each mvp has its own individual settings
file.
