Both 7.4.1 and 7.4.2 are working for me - nightly build from 21 Dec 2009.
What files format is your music in?
They seem to keep messing with the server transcodings. I can't get .aac to
work at the moment but everything else is OK.
If you have WMA files you need mplayer and the PlayWMA plugin installed.
For FlAC you need FLAC and LAME installed.

Subject: [Mvpmc-users] Mclient and supported squeezebox server release

Hi,

I am running Squeezebox Server 7.4.1and the 20100120 build of mvpmc. I
am not getting any sound when playing music. From searching the list,
I can see that others have brought up this issue. However, I could not
find any conclusion as to which Server version is fully supported. I
have to run version 7.4 in order for my newer Logitech devices to
work. I guess I could run a second Squeezebox Server, but would like
to avoid the hassle.
