I understand, I just want to squeeze as much use out of the silly thing as I
can hope for. All I really want at the moment is MP3 and satellite radio from
the PVR-500, but I still want the video telling me what song is playing.
I would be interested in a similar HD-capable box like the ASUS O!Play, but
it looks like the software control side of those is nearly as inelegant as the
MVP.
Even though it costs more money, I know I can expect an easier time building
my own HD streamer using one of those Atom/ION nettop boxes. They're bound to
get cheaper.
Thanks for all your help, seriously. You've given me the little undocumented
keys I'd not suss out otherwise.
