This is not true of the PPC version where tasks without a start date are not
visible in the to-do list. This caught me out when entering lots of tasks on
the PPC in 2.5.

This is actually my preferred option - Not to show tasks without a start
date until they are due. Otherwise I've got to set all the start dates for
those I don't want to see. It's just additional data entry. If I want to see
them earlier I'll set the start date anyway.

Steve,

I analyzed the file you sent to me. All the tasks which are visible do
NOT have start date. If a task does not have a start date it is
visible in to-do right away. If you want to see this task only after
specified date you should define the start date. This is as designed
in MLO.

Andrey.
