Hi folks,

I want to know if I can use "hibernate" under linux. I looked on the
net and found swsup and softwaresuspend2. Has anyone used these? Are
they reliable enough for everyday use?

I'm using the stock RH FC3 kernel. During startup, it spends > 10 secs
"configuring storage,
network, audio" and then starts udev. Any ideas on how I can speed this up?

I'm considering subscribing to an Airtel broadband connection. They
are providing a USB "modem". Does anyone know if I can use it under
linux? They also offer a setup where the connection is through the
ethernet card. I dont know which setup is easier to use under linux..

Thanks in advance,
Shashanka
