Hi *,
I got an Airtel Broad band connection soon as I switched to Bangalore.
Pretty solid plans they have got. But there is little hilch.
They have provided me an ADSL USB modem with following specs:
ZyXEL 630-C1 aka OMNI ADSL USB (Annex A)
Equivalent of 0572:cb00 ( Prestige 630-C1 ).
I told them at start I tend to use Linux heavily and they told this
should work. Well now getting it to work on Linux is giving me creeps.
Bit googling I found this modem was of Conextant Accessrunner chipset.
As per the following url
http://accessrunner.sourceforge.net/modems.shtml
This modem is supported to work with this Driver. Now how can I get it
working. Messed around here. How module can be inserted and built into
kernel ?
The wise hackers of mylug, please once again help me :)
