Details:
I have this problem where I tend to forget to switch layers while I'm
painting - I'm just forgetful like that. I have discovered that layers with
visibility turned off still get painted upon if they are selected, as when I
went to turn the visibility back on for one of them I discovered that a bunch
of strokes had been applied to it that I assumed from previous experience with
other programs like Photoshop wouldn't have registered because the visibility
for the layer was turned off, and thus I had simply switched to the correct
layer and continued painting. By that time there weren't enough undos to fix
the problem, so I had to repaint it.
So while not really critical, it is a bit annoying. Perhaps this could be
changed?
