Related to this, I suggest we close bugs that was only in git and not in the stable version when they get fixed. This makes it easier to evaluate when it is time for a point release, and less work to go though the bug-reports when doing the point release. Unless there are objections I will close the bugs we have that are in this state in a couple of days.
