Hi Ciprian,

Well, I guess you just need to ask yourself a few questions:

Is this an important project?

Is scaleability important?

Is good security important?

Is stability important?

If you answered 'yes' to any of these, and any of them are mission-critical, then
Microsoft products in general are not the way to go. Why use an OS that's *renowned*
for it's poor security and stability? (read the news...)

Also, MS-SQL does not scale well. If it did, Microsoft would probably use it for their
big databases. They don't.

MySQL on any of the popular flavours of Unix (Solaris, Linux, HP-UX, BSD, etc...) is
infinitely superior.

... I may be opinionated, but at least they're MY opinions. :>

All the best. Good luck,
/Rob

To be Politically Correct does not mean to be polite. It means to behave,
through your speech and actions, in a manner that helps to further a
political agenda.
This agenda includes preventing anyone from expressing views that differ
from the Politically Correct orthodoxy.
This is accomplished through censorship, threats, suppression, and
intimidation.
Are you SURE you agree with this political agenda?
