My confusion is that I have some formulas to plug in these values, but it seems to me that if I use the wrong set of data, my zipcodes will be wrong too. I also don't understand why there is even such a difference. I can understand a few decimal points being different, but I don't understand how they are positive and negative, when it's supposed to be based upon the equator and the prime meridian. Since they're US zipcodes, it's not like we're in different parts of the world or anything.
