If I understand correctly I can load data in UTF-8 to a MySql database that was compiled with character set (Latin-1). In all of the documentation that I looked at there is an indication that due to the lack of direct Unicode support in MySQL the use of the data which is stored in UTF-8 will be problematic. Can you tell me in which way will this be problematic? Did anyone use UTF-8 in a mysql database? Thanks Dana
