It's "troll" as in "trolling for controversy", that is, posting an inflammatory comment with no intent other than to cause trouble. I wouldn't say that your posting qualified, but on the other hand, posting with an attitude is rarely, if ever, helpful, and less so are attempts to justify the attitude.
