Hi, I've been trying to install Msql-Mysql-modules-1.2216, but I'm getting the following error:
After executing #perl Makefile.PL (I've also tried INC="-I/usr/lib" perl Makefile.PL) . . . Looks good Note (probably harmless): No library found for -lgz . . . Then I type #make . . . LD_RUN_PATH="/lib:/usr/lib:/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/2.96" gcc -o ../blib/arch/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so -shared -L/usr/local/lib dbdimp.o mysql.o -L/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql /usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.a -lm -lz -L/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/2.96 -lgcc /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lz collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: *** [../blibl/arch/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/dragonsw/Msql-Mysql-modules-1.2216/mysql' make *** [subdirs] Error 2 I've already installed DBI and DataShowTable.
