Thanks. I just e-mailed that address with "subscribe" in the subject line. I've been wanting to learn about PHP, too.

I have an installation question, too. I'm downloading MySQL right this minute. I was reading the installation instructions and found the server stuff pretty confusing. I think it said I have to log on to my server as an administrator and do something. I can probably figure out how to do that - my computer is running on Windows XP, which I understand has an IIS server, or something like that.

But I just want to make sure I don't screw anything up when I install MySQL. I do a lot of work with webpages, but I don't understand servers that well. When I install MySQL, am I installing another server? If so, is there any way it can mess up my other server? As long as I can continue previewing my webpages, it's no problem. I'm just not sure exactly what I'm doing right now.

Thanks!
