I found MySQL Cookbook really good for figuring out how to solve a problem -
good if you are coming from another database, or have a list of specific
problems.

I haven't read MySQL Reference Manual, but I have read Mastering MySQL 4 - I
thought it was quite good.

Head to your local book store, and browse the MySQL section - buy the book
that gets a good Amazon.com review (ie not full of mistakes), covers the
version you are interested in deploying, and that you find readable.
