I think the reference manual is basically what's on the web. The book you ordered, "MySQL, Second Edition" is indispensible. Since Paul is on the line, if there's ever a third edition, it would be nice to have the book and the appendices broken into separate books (they'd be bundled together at the store). Sometimes, 1,000 pages is a bit heavy to move around on one's desk :-)

I'm sure other people on this list will provide recommendations for which books they've found most helpful. > > >Thank you all in advance > >Ola -- Paul DuBois, Senior Technical Writer Madison, Wisconsin, USA MySQL AB, www.mysql.com Are you MySQL certified? http://www.mysql.com/certification/ -- MySQL General Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/mysql To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- MySQL General Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/mysql To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
