have you changed the directory to the mysql/bin directory? normally when you get this error you're not in the correct directory. if mysql is in C:\mysql you'll need to be in the c:\mysql\bin and then excecute C:\>mysql

There is no problem. The server has started successfully. But you need to *connect* to the server using a client program.
