I have done following as advised :
[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# rpm -qa | grep mysql
[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# ps ax | grep mysqld
  854 ? S 0:00 /bin/sh
/usr/bin/mysqld_safe --datadir=/var/lib/mysql
  884 ? S 0:00 /usr/sbin/mysqld
--basedir=/ --datadir=/var/lib/mysql
 8295 pts/0 S 0:00 grep mysqld

No response for [EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# rpm -qa | grep
mysql.

I will prefer to uninstall mysql since it does not
have any data.
Thanks for support
