I think the biggest issue I see come up here is that somewhere people get
the idea to add a mysql user to OS X, this causes a lot of trouble for
everyone, as there already is such a user, and you don't need to do anything
in regards to that.  On OS X 10.3, simply run the installer, set the root
password, and you are up and running, doing anything more causes a lot of
headache.
