Ya, the 5700 did both screens with Xv. I got it now though ,with this mornings
CVS, pops up on both. Also my nVidia XvMC libraries needed to be moved from
where the installer put them to where they belong. It seems there is now a
flag in the nVidia 6629 installer to tell it to do that but I just moved them
manually. I'm not having Xv or XvMC issues with Xinerama now but I will make
the TV Screen 0 for these tests.

Oh this is mostly a convenience issue for my girlfriend. I have several other
systems around but not another one with a 6600GT. But that comment is a
little snide, don't ya think?

Yes I do. Again, one needs to accomidate others that live here!

I've been busy this weekend but am doing the same test I did the other day
agains XvMC. The system performance has jumped noticably but I'll send out
the measured numbers when I get done here later today. I downloaded a
version of TOP from Mandrake Clud that is supposed to facilitate
hyperthreading. It certainly displays activity where my previous version did
not, so I'll provide that too, for whatever it's worth. I'll do your test
too but I will need to get somemore recordings to create the control
environment. That probably won't get done till later this week.
