perfectly dry before you apply the gel top coat and that would add to the
service time.  Otherwise I think the top coat cracks as the polish dries
under it.  I've never tried it so I don't know, I just recall this from what
others have said.

Just wondering if you use nailpolish, why not just put a gel topcoat
over it and then it shouldn't chip, right?  Then it would definitely
soak off, just file the clear topcoat off.  It would be a lot cheaper
than to buy all the gel polish and you'd have a lot more colors.  Then
again, I guess if this was possible, it would have already been done?
