Elaine,

Does the kit you were telling us about include a lamp that will cure all 5 fingers at once?

Lynnette,

This is what I've been trying to explain for months. My instructions for SOG say finish with the topcoat of choice to seal and protect the gel. Everyone keeps thinking it's for "shine".

SOG's are SUPER porous. That's how the Soak off. Remember old school acrylics and how polish used to stain them. They were much more porous. Same for the gels. If they aren't sealed and protected with a finish coat, things like newspapers or even unlined Black Leather Gloves will leave a mark on the nails.

One coat of your favorite Traditional Topcoat can prevent this!

:) Elaine

Angie,
I am getting two weeks and more with my sog. I am using OPI and Nailite. The OPI so top is by far my top choice. I JUST got a call from a client who had them done on Friday and she is complaining about "something black" on the tips. Said it could be newspaper. GEEZUS-- this is MY fault??? Use your fingers to turn the pages and not your nails. No wonder her nails peel and break! This proves it. Who needs coffee??? Shoot- I need a shot of something!! LOL
Buenos dias,
Lynnette

Subject: NailTech:: LE sog

Well it has been over a week and the sog is still on a looks good. I am not crazy about their super shiney. It's just not that super shiney. Do most of you get about 2 weeks out of your sog? (No Chip Manicures)? I have LE sog with LE gel polish on one person and LE sog with Nailite gel polish on another. Just relatives at this point.
