Becky,
I was talking about a new nail growing in.... not "a long nail with just a tiny
amount actually attacjed," Yes, I agree that would probably hurt... but that
was not the scenario I was talking about. These nails are no longer injured
(ie: no bleeding or bruising) they are just growing back. In my case I lost
them from chemo...I am sure there are others out there like this also.
I definitely would not work on oozing, bleeding, or fungal (not talking about
pseudomonas here tho... that I would... after exposing it to the air <thereby
killing it> and then cleansing it) nails.

Is no one concerned about the liability issue here? I never sculpt on fungus or
injured nails... if this person has a long nail with just a tiny amount
actually attacjed, can you imagine her pain and horror when she kicks that
sucker off??? You've just created the perfect opportunity for further damage,
infection, pain... I would recommend she go buy a press on toe nail and take
her issue into her own hands. And yall who do this are crazy!!

Hers came off from an injury, but she's definitely fungal underneath. She's
got about half a nail left. I thought I'd sculpt her something that was really
short so there wouldn't be too much pressure on the remaining nail plate.

I'm excited. This will be my first one!
