In response: I can understand disapointment and bitterness at not receiving your products as promised. Especially if you pre-paid for them. Personally I could not order Shellac that early... didn't know what the product would be....didn't know even what Shellac was untill it was lauched. The show (if you ordered at the show) was not on the west coast. l live in Vista, CA where CND is located and could have driven there and bought it if it had been set up to sell that way and we all know know it isn't. There were so few kits and lights available locally that I have bought what loose stock in colors I could at Armstrong McCall and Maly's Beauty supplies. That required several trips and many calls to the supply houses to see if any new stock had arrived. I'm still running around looking for more base and top cotes so I don't run out, and still dont' have Strawberry Smoothie untill someone gets it stocked back in. Ran in and out to get remover packs as they were stocked also.
Now to get to my point... Companies are run by people, people are humans and they make mistakes. Things don't always go well when any of us have to wait on others to do their part. That applies to manufacturers as well as office staff. I had a great conversation with Kathy at CND last week and she took the time to explain to me exactly what was the difference in the new CND light that made it different from the others before it. I appreciate her candid and honest answers to what I was asking her. On Sunday last weekend I ordered (from CND web site) 2 large wall posters, one for the frame I hang above my station and one for collecting. I also ordered 2 window clings, one to place on the doorway into the salon I work in. I think I will put one on my car window, hmmm don't know yet! I ordered tham last Sunday online and they were delivered to my salon on Friday. That fast service pleased me. And to my surprise I found my Salon Listed on the CND Shellac Salon website this morning. Hoo rah!! Needless to say I am thrilled that it is all coming together. Slower at the start but speeeding up now. Just a few suggestions, take them for what their worth to you ...Prior to getting my promotionals I cut the pages of Shellac ads out of my Nails and Nails Pro Mags and incased then into stand-up plastic tent card holders put one in the bathroom and one on the reception table in our lobby. I have two matching dark wood frames that fit the magazine pages almost perfectly and I cut the two page ads that follow each other ( in the magazines) out and framed them and hung them side by side in the bathroom where ladies stare when they wash their hands. Can't miss them! In closing I'd like to add that being human we all have feelings... and it's easy to overlook hurting others with words when we are in pain ourselves. Forgive CND for any thing you feel they have failed you and be forgiven your own failures by those around you, we all fall short at times.
