I wish I could say I've not suffered from the effects of the job I LOVE. I quit doing gel nail enhancements last December 1. About 2 months later I realized I no longer was coughing up "stuff" when I'd get up in the morning. I had been using a vacuum attached to my electric file for, probably 5 years. I only do manis and pedis now. We are all different, but if you are experiencing adverse happenings with your body, you might consider a change. While tragic that the workers do not know what they are getting into, neither do the clients who use discount salons either. Notice all the bottles in the video were generic "off brand" products... where is the balanced reporting of even simply stating that not ALL nail products are as harmful as these. I have been a manicurist for 14 years and have never had a problem... I also have always used high end products and have never set foot in a discount salon. Ever. In my life.
