Patricia,
Are you stirring the colors? I had the same issue with all the pots until I
realized they needed to be stirred.
The black I have is so sheer I will not be able to use it at all. Some of
the colors do not match the labels.
Be careful how many layers you apply....too many and you will get peeling.
