If you are building a nail or doing a fill and it is going into the sidewalls you are probably putting it on to thick. If you are trying to get an arch and you are using self leveling gel you need to flash cure for at least 10 seconds so your gel doesn't move while you are doing the others and then give them all a two minute cure. Try using thinner coats of gel and it will help. Light Elegance has a builder gel that doesn't self level and there is no need to flash cure it. But if it is still to thick it will heat spike.
