There are a few things you can do. Someone already said you may be putting it
on too thick. If you find that it's running into the sidewalls, you can apply
to a couple of nails and then flash cure for about 10 seconds. If your client's
hands are warm/hot, the gel can run more than usual. I take the sharp end of my
cuticle pushers and run it along the sidewalls to clean up right before curing.
One other thing you can do is have the client flip their hand upside down for a
few seconds before they put their hand in the light it will help the gel move
to the apex a bit more.
