Be sure to have the client scrub like they are going into surgery when they are
done soaking!

Everything i use is ECO or Star Nails. I dont buff the shine, I file with 180

Veronica, you are over-prepping. All you need to do is buff the shine off with
a
white block (240 grit). If you are set on using a 180 grit, then very lightly.

Apply the base ULTRA thin, cure 30 seconds
2 color coats - also thing but not as thin as the base - cure 2 minutes each
Do not "cap the free edge", we found it actually promotes lifting
Do not use primer - if you feel you must, VERY sparingly and only on the free
edge

What did you have on your nails prior to the eco application?
What lamp are you using, how old/clean are the bulbs?
Are you REALLY stirring your pots?
What are you cleansing the nail with prior to application?

Here are my steps:
1. take off polish and push cuticles back
2. file nails
3. brush off dust and apply dehydrator
4. apply primer pen
5.apply THIN layer of base (cure 2 mins)
6. apply eco's thick clear and again i apply it thin.
I put on about 3 or 4 layers and cure in 2 minutes each.

what am i doing wrong?

Hi Veronica,
What is your prep?  Are you stirring the gel really well?  Are you applying
each coat thinly?  How are you applying the base coat?  The base coat works
best
when you use very little and it is "scrubbed" into the nail.
