The reason the layers need to be thin is so that the UV is able to come into 
contact with all the photo initiators and fully polymerize the gel :o)

When u say thin layers of application; it would be helpful to know why; any gel 
app will expand once it is cured,in this case less is best,just be sure to 
cover whole nail plate with each app also be sure not to over cure,product can 
and will crack like glass 3/4 days after the service.Can find me on twitter
