I'll chime in with a preference for sculptured nails for both gel and acrylic. Glue and I have never gotten along well, the issues between us began way back in grade school. I have glued myself to everything imaginable. I do tips only when the client asks for tips or in the rare case where I think that tips will look better on the client.
