I will do either, whichever I think would work better for the clients nails/lifestyle/shape etc. However, I am of the opinion that the acrylic adheres better to the natural nail than the glue does. So... I may apply a set of tips, and scult over them, but I am pretty sure at some point they will start loosening, (the glue is coming loose between the tip and the natural nail) and I will replace them with all acrylic as they do. It does give their natural nail a chance to grow out to a length that CAN be sculpted though! Pam Nail Designs Ohio

Glue and I have never gotten along well, the issues between us began way back in grade school. I have glued myself to everything imaginable. I do tips only when the client asks for tips or in the rare case where I think that tips will look better on the client. Glueing a tip on or using forms and creating your own complete nail? I'm not for or against either, I'm just curious what your preference is. Thanks for answering. And that's for Acrylics or Gels..
