my original site was/is hosted by Tripod. Costs me $4.95 a month. I still have it, but it's not my primary site anymoe. I moved to a Blogspot site because it has better search results. Totally free. I like the absolute control over my site. I know too many people who have trouble getting their sites updated in a timely fashion when they go through a 3rd party.
