While I agree with that at face value, I think it's also important to
mention that the MLC was/is not just an enforcement body. Many ideas
and goals that were not able to gain traction due to internal issues
were focused on encouraging and fostering better dialogue, organizing
summary data and posting to the wiki or other collaborative forum, and
more generic user experience items that aren't directly addressed by
the other NANOG committees.
