I think everyone has heard this before.  

1. Someone compains about having a new release.  
2. Everyone jumps up and says what needs to be done.  
3. Then the threads go off onto tangents.
4. Nothing gets done.

It seems this conversation gets repeated every 2-4
months, with nothing happening.

What can we do as a community to ensure that this
doesn't happen again?
