So with that out of the way, let's get busy! :)

We are trying to build on 2 primary platforms:
1) Windows (using .NET Framework)
2) Linux (using Mono)

As a refresher, recall I have registered an account on
http://teamcity.codebetter.com (TC) in hopes of building NAnt on it. However, I
have had a number of setbacks, mainly due to the fact we don't have control
over the setup of the agents.

The TC policy is to keep all dependencies as part of the source tree, so to
keep the build agents as clean as possible. I agree with the policy as well,
the source tree should include most of the tools required -- the less
dependencies, the better.

Based on what I have learnt, TC have .NET 2.0 installed, but not NMake. I asked
for GNU Make, tried it, was unsuccessful, that was about 2 weeks ago. The
agents also do not have HTML Help Workshop installed for generating .CHM files
so this might still be an issue later (perhaps we should replace with something
FOSS (NDoc? Doxygen? HTML? PDF?).

Dominik, thanks for volunteering to look into TC. I have admin rights for the
NAnt project on the TC server. After you have created an account on TC, send me
your username -- and I can grant you access and discuss further.

While the above is in progress, if anyone else is interested in volunteering to
help verify the NAnt build scripts, please reply and indicate which the
platform or configurations they will be working. If you are already running the
NAnt build, what issues have you found? Thanks.

Regards,
Charles

FYI: I am also talking with a couple of other sources to see if we can get our
own server. Unfortunately, nothing concrete at the moment...
