While it is POSSIBLE that I am wildly off base here, I wanted to chime in as a former Neotek dealer and service tech with my 2 cents.

To the best of my recollection, ALL Series III were hardwired, but ALL IIIC desks were modular. That was the big selling point on the IIIC, the fully removable channels. Knowing Neotek, there might have been an oddball or two made, but I, for one, never have seen one.

If someone knows differently, please chime in. In case this was already hashed out here, my bad, sorry!
