No, there are two plugins.
One is called "nmap", and it is a wrapper that calls the nmap command (or
read a file). That's the one you want to use. It has many "Prefs": TCP
connect, SYN scan, UDP scan, etc.
The other one is called "nmap TCP connect" and it is a C plugin made from
parts of nmap source code. This one has no "Prefs" at all. I understood that
it is slowing down your scan. You may disable it.

But I do not know exactly how they look under NessusWX.
