Sorry, maybe that this sounds like a very early beginner question: I was successfully using at first 1.2.7 and now 2.0 version of nessus on a debian 3.0 box. Yesterday - with the "old version" - I configured a session by selecting some plugins. After trying to start the scan : nothing happens. Restarting the daemon and the client, updating plugins : same problem.
Today I installed the brand new version 2.0 and I updated the plugins - everything seems to work fine. But after starting the scan : nothing happens! (The host I wanted to scan is reachable by ping) Here you can see the output of my *.nbe-file: timestamps|||scan_start|Thu Feb 27 08:44:13 2003| timestamps|||scan_end|Thu Feb 27 08:44:13 2003| Is there anybody who can give me a hint, where I have to search for the problem ?
