FYI, I've been very actively involved in another project called "net-policy" (which relies heavily on Net-SNMP as well as a number of other packages) and is designed to be a more easy to use and generic manager. It's very operational now but not yet perfect. It does some pretty cool things (displays dynamically generated network maps, red/green status lights, lets you perform configuration, etc). If you're interested in checking it out, see net-policy.sourceforge.net for details. Make sure you use CVS instead of the tar balls (which are very very out of date at this point). If you use CVS, run ./np-install to get it up and installed. Requires linux at this point. -- Wes Hardaker Sparta ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
