Hello, I worked with Quagga and net-snmp on an embedded system a view yeas ago. What i missed was a read/write implementation of the OSPF MIB. If you only want to monitor the if/ip/routing mibs, it works fine with net-snmp without quagga.
The main question seems what you really want to do: * To make the installation process simple, that depends on your OS using on that PC? * To make monitoring easy, all is done. * To enable configuration via snmp, you have a lot of work! I wish someone would change that readonly SMUX OSPF MIB module to an AgentX subagent module with read/write access. That would be good. What do the quagga developers mean about your ideas?
