As soon as you restart? As in immediately? Or does it happen gradually as you
poll the extTable?

Hmmm... is there a more recent net-snmp available? Maybe 5.1.2? I couldn't get
the memory stats to budge, polling the results once a second, for 5.2.rc4 or
5.1.2. I don't keep 5.1 around, so I can't try that one.

If you are not using the current release and run into what you think might be a
bug, it is very helpful to us to know if the problem exists in a current
version. Even if you are unable to upgrade to a new relase for some reason, you
can test a newer version without installing it.
