Just a guess, but try:
a) with numeric instance subidentifiers
(nsExternalResult.12.115.119.97.112.95.112.101.114.99.101.110.116)
b) escaping the double quotes
(nsExternalResult.\"swap_percent\")
c) monitoring the MIB object (nsExternalResult) rather than an instance.
