Hi Mike,
Thanks again. The snmpd agent is probably running now (I have it running in the
foreground as you suggested) but I still can't seem to do snmpget. I always get
a timeout. In snmpd.conf I have Access Control setup as "rwcommunity public".
Any idea what I could be doing wrong? I had compiled the MIB code and created
the MIB based on instructions in the tutorial. This is what I get
$ snmpget localhost NET-SNMP-TUTORIAL-MIB::nstAgentModuleObject.0
snmpget: Timeout
