The IP address is reported using '%a' The hostname is reported using '%A' > Not sure of the syntax to use in the snmptrapd.conf file since ./snmptradd > start -%a or -%A did not work. Try format1 'Testing: %a: %W Trap (%q) Uptime: %#T%#v\n' (within the snmptrapd.conf file), and send a v1 trap to snmptrapd.
