It is possible but the routing will kill you. You WILL have problems. Your best bet is to put it in this way: Router <--- Hub/Switch or Crossover ---> Firewall <---- Switch ---> Server. Then just setup another private address on the internal nic of the firewall. Use 10 addresses if you want (10.0.0.0) or any other reserved.
