Subject: Provision of Media Studies

Question to all ICT colleagues out there…

Am interested to know if your school is delivering A2, AS and/or GCSE Media Studies and Moving Image Arts.  If so do you use Apple Macs or PCs?  If PCs, legacy or C2k?  If the latter, how do you solve the problem of space allocated to pupils on the servers?  Also what software are you using to deliver the course?

If using C2K systems you may be able to get C2K to adjust the user space for specific users.  Alternatively, and if you can afford it, you could supply external usb connected hard drives.

Richard
